Q. How are spray render systems cost effective?
A. This is down to the speed of the machine saving labour time and scaffolding costs.

Q. Will render stop rising damp?
A. No but this can be cured by using DPC chemicals

Q. Will render stop penetrating damp?
A. Yes by using a quality render

Q. Can you render over the top of old render?
A. Yes if you dubb out any loose or cracked render. You can also paint apply correct sealants, fix mesh to the render and then apply a correct base coat followed by a top coat of render. PLEASE NOTE: In most cases it's best to hack off the old render back to the brick or block work for best results.

Q. Can you render over wood surfaces?
A. Yes you can, but it's best avoided if possible. This is due to the wood being a flexible material and subject to movement when exposed to 'heat'. However if you still wish to proceed with render you are best applying a sealant followed by mesh. Then adding a flexible base coat under the top coat of render to reduce the risk of cracking.

Q. How much does render cost?
A. This all depends on the background, materials required and M2 coverage area

Q. Do you undertake tape & jointing work?
A. No, sorry we don't offer this service.

Q. Do you undertake floor screeding work?
A. No, sorry we don't offer this service.

Q. We are buying a property, how much will it cost to plaster?
A. Once you have the keys in your possession we will be more than happy to visit the property and provide a written quotation based on your requirements.

Q. How long does plaster take to dry?
A. The drying time is dependant on background, thickness of plaster and air temperature. The average drying time is around 3 to 5 days from completion.
